ConnectGenie AI Persona
Meet your LinkedIn AI persona that won’t just write your LinkedIn content, It actually writes like you.

I’m not just dabbling with ConnectGenie, it’s genuinely become part of how I work every day. From shaping LinkedIn posts to refining outreach and keeping my personal brand sharp, it’s helped me stay consistent and visible without burning out. It saves time, sure, but more than that, it keeps my messaging aligned with how I actually speak and show up online.

I’ve started working on defining the persona to tailor LinkedIn content in my voice. It’s a really helpful feature.
What Is Persona in ConnectGenie?
ConnectGenie began as a simple, smart LinkedIn AI content assistant. But as AI content became easier to spot, authenticity became harder to maintain.
So we built Persona, a feature that captures your unique writing style. With Persona feature you can make our AI adopt your writing voice, ensuring every post, comment, or connect note that gets written by our tool sounds like you, not AI.
So, it’s still AI written BUT authentically yours.

Why Persona?
You beat your competition with authenticity – Naval Ravikant
Generic AI content doesn’t build trust. Your voice does.
With Persona, you guide ConnectGenie how you usually write. You tell it about your tone, style, favorite phrases, and even what words to avoid. The result?
ConnectGenie will start creating content that sounds less like a robot and more like YOU.
Because real impact comes from staying authentic, even when AI helps you write.

How To Use Persona?
Persona for comments
Find the persona icon in the commenting tool, click it to either add or use any of the existing personas.

Persona for post drafting
Similar to commenting, find your persona icon in Post Drafting tool, click it to either use an existing persona or add a new one.

Persona for Connect Notes
To write personalised connection request notes, find the icon shown in pictures in either of the connection request note tools.

Define Your Persona Step-by-Step
Step 1

Step 2
We have simplified defining persona by giving users the ability to directly import from their LinkedIn profile. Simply paste your profile url and hit import.
( Note: don’t miss on Step 3 its important)

- ConnectGenie will autofill your professional details in seconds.
- What gets extracted?
- Persona Identifier: In ConnectGenie you can have multiple personas, this field gives a name to each persona, you can change this to anything you want.
- Linkedin Profile type: You can choose if this persona is being defined for a personal LinkedIn profile or a Company Page.
- Name: The representative’s name of the persona.
- Avatar: choose from a list of avatars to distinguish between different personas.
- Professional title: Give this persona a professional title, it's important to use the right title which truly resonates with the persona, it influences the content creation.
- Industry: Which Industry does this persona belong to, it's also important to use the right industry as the content generated is being influenced according to your industry.
- BackGround & Writing style: This is important and needs another step.
Step 3 (IMPORTANT!!)

While we made the process easy, there is one thing that we really want you to put some effort into, Yes that “ Background & Writing Style ”. See with import feature we are extracting what you have written in your Linkedin's About section.
This gives AI a bit of details about your background which helps, but it does not clarify how you usually write your content.
Therefore it’s important that you clearly define this section. Here are some tips that you can consider.
TIPS:
- Do you use short sentences?
- Do you usually keep your comments casual / formal or sarcastically funny?
- Do you like to write long sentences or short ones?
- Do you like to use simple English or go all Shakespeare style?
- Do you avoid using certain words? For example “I just don’t like to use the word “Absolutely” when I agree to something, because it gives away that it's written by AI or it just starts sounding like a bland comment, so if I agree to something I start my sentence with I also believe.
- Talk about your hobbies, your favourite quotes. Who are your heroes? Give details as AI will refer to them in different content pieces.
- Important:Mention what exactly is your target audience or your prospects who you are trying to write posts for or you are trying to engage with.
- Tip: Consider using separate personas for ConnectNotes, Comments and Post Drafting if your writing style differs for all 3 of these.
- Note: You have to understand AI is still AI, it cannot get into your mind and understand what you were thinking and how you wanted to write things up, so you might have to tweak this section a couple of times until AI actually starts reflecting your style.
Step 4
- Choose an avatar and set whether this persona is for your individual profile or your company page.
